What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Las Posadas State Forest for its natural beauty, abundant trails, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great escape into nature. However, many highlight the poor trail signage, which can lead to confusion and getting lost, and strongly emphasize the need for all dogs to be kept on a leash due to past negative encounters.
"It's a big park, but it's not more than cool. Good to go with dogs."
Raquel Rodrigues
"An easy trek which doesn’t offer you much except a small waterfall and puddles. Beware of the slippery gravel road though."
K Lam
"Great trails, however....It is CLEARLY marked "KEEP ALL DOGS LEASHED" (see photo)...and yet...came across a woman whose loose dogs charged at us, teeth bared, attached our leashed dogs, then proceeded to ARGUE with US that she didn't have to keep her dogs leashed!!!! Unbelievable narcissism. PLEASE, BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS! We had come across horseback riders earlier, if this charging dog had gone for those horses there would have been someone seriously injured! Please....keep your dogs leashed or else go to a dog park. We had our 2 dogs and kept them leashed the whole time just fine. And to the lady that argued with me? HERE'S THE SIGN YOU LIED ABOUT NOT EXISTING. 😎✌️ I see you, gaslighter. Bye, Felicia."
