"Absolutely appalled by how the Deacons at the door (mind you the first impression I got about the member of the church) act. When told there was a dog left in a car they failed to inform the owner and when the cops were called they were laughing that the cops were called like it wasn’t a serious issues and ILLEGAL. While the pastor is preaching love thy neighbor, the deacons are laughing about animal cruelty. They should be ashamed of themselves. God calls us to love all living creatures as they are his creations. I understand not wanting to interrupt service if there was a loose dog in the parking lot but it was locked in a car with the windows barely cracked which the deacons knew. Despite the owner going to check on the dog throughout the service, it can not and should not be left in a car whose interior reaches temperatures far above the temperature outside. This is common sense.My intention is not to shame the owner rather call out the Deacons who behaved in a less than professional or Christ-like manner. I will never step foot in that church nor shop at their local events ever again as I refuse to spend money on entities that do not align their behavior with their values and what they preach. People like the deacons at the door during the 11/16/25 service are why people leave or avoid the church. I will no longer recommend this church to tourists looking for a place to worship as I would be hypocrite to send them to a church whose members don’t value all life, even animals which God created for us to appreciate and care for."

"This is my 2nd year on vacation on this beautiful island but the 1st year I didn't attend church while I was vacationing here. I couldn't wait to get back to church in my home town. I told a friend of mine about how good the location & vacation was but missed being in church. They said I should attend church there, on the island, and I thought of coarse why didn't I think of that. Possibly because I'm somewhat of a shy individual and don't like putting myself out there (so too say) Sunday came and I was drawn to worship. I am so glad my friend put that voice in the back of my head. This church was so inviting and actually made me feel at home. I love it🤍 and will attend regularly while I'm here."
