In addition to biographical information on Benjamin Banneker, Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman, there is a lot of information on Black communities in Maryland and their role in the state's history. The restored worship hall of the church is beautiful and makes an excellent display setting for artwork. Definitely worth a visit and it is free to enter (donations are accepted)."

One area had a new aged black artist's work on exhibition. The other permanent exhibition featured history of historic black figures of the Maryland past. The museum does not charge an admission fee, but please find a way to donate to support their cause."
