What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Six Flags Over Texas for its thrilling rides and energetic atmosphere, making it a great destination for thrill-seekers. While the park offers a good mix of attractions for various ages, some guests note that popular rides can have long wait times and that food prices are on the higher side. Despite these minor drawbacks, many find it to be an excellent value for a day of fun.
"We had a great time at Six Flags! The rides were awesome, and the overall atmosphere was full of energy and fun. Definitely a place where thrill-seekers can have a blast.
That said, a few things could have been better planned for. Some of the more popular rides had wait times up to an hour, which slowed down our day a bit — wish we’d known that ahead of time so we could have prioritized better.
Also, the food prices inside the park were quite expensive, which caught us off guard. We ended up stepping out for about an hour to grab lunch elsewhere, which worked out okay but took time away from the park.
Lastly, it would be really helpful if there were more public water fountains especially on a hot day. Staying hydrated shouldn't be so difficult!
Overall, we still had a wonderful day full of memories, just recommended to come prepared!"

"Great Day Out – Highly Recommended!
We had a fantastic day at the park! It’s easy to reach and there are plenty of parking spaces, which made our arrival really smooth. When we visited, it wasn’t very crowded, so we didn’t have to wait long for any of the rides – a big plus!
The attractions themselves are excellent – everything looked well-maintained and fairly new. There’s something for every age group, from little kids to thrill-seekers looking for a serious adrenaline rush. The park really offers a great mix of fun for everyone.
We absolutely loved our time there and would definitely recommend it. The overall experience, especially considering the price, is excellent value for money."

"This is a very cool park, I was so excited to visit since it's the original six flags park. a few rides were closed like the train and observation tower, but the rest of the park was open and running well. They have a nice assortment of coasters and other rides, and although I had a little trouble finding my way around the park, I did manage to ride everything that I planned to. The park was clean, I felt safe and the employees were great during my visit. I enjoyed it very much."
