"I biked through Carrier Park Monday (9/1/25) and can confirm that it's closed. I've been in that park on many previous holidays for celebrations and looking forward to returning when the rehabilitation projects are completed. It did feel completely different to be within a Park with very very few people."

"The playground itself is great, but getting to it isn't easy or clearly defined. To access it, you have to either find an unlocked/opened gate or enter using the stairs/ramp, as the whole area is fenced off. It's a decent walk from both parking lots, which makes other playgrounds far more convenient with young kids... unless, of course, you plan to run laps while you let your kids play. Sadly, I don't suspect we'll be back with our young kids, but will opt to visit other, more easily accessible playgrounds."
