The Revolution will not be Televised — Part 3 Seattle, June 11: Protesters didn’t just show up, they shut it down. Outside the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building, they dragged scooters, bikes, and bodies into position—blocking ICE vans, halting transfers, and forcing court delays. Cops tried to outmaneuver them. Didn’t matter. The city’s own infrastructure became the barricade. No speeches. No perm...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning, unobstructed views of Mount Rainier from the Paradise Jackson Visitor Center and surrounding areas. The visitor center itself is praised for its beautiful architecture, informative exhibits, and convenient amenities like a cafe and bookstore. While parking can be a challenge and restrooms may have queues, the overall experience is highly recommended for its breathtaking scenery and educational value.

"One of the best view points for the majestic Mt Rainier. Just a mile ahead of the Paradise point, this place offers multiple medium to hard scale hikes. With kids we did the hike till the Myrtle falls which was awesome and the water flow was great. There was still enough snow for kids to engage is snowball fights. An important point to note is that the visitor center will close at 4:30 pm and post that restrooms can have a long queue. The parking was a time taking affair but there are plenty of parking areas to choose from, just need to be patient. For folks who cannot hike uphill, there are plenty of picture spots at the foot itself."

"Beautiful vistor center offering stunning views, gift shop, food and a very informational educational display about the history of Rainier. We arrived at 6am and the parking lot had open spots, by the time we were done with our hike 4hrs later roughly 10am ( we did skyline loop ) both upper & lower lots were full with many people parking along the side of road. Mt Rainier was showing and that made it more perfect. Highly recommend but be patient with the parking situations."

Jennifer Lauck

"About 17 miles from Paradise entrance, after a long wait on cars you will arrive at the base of mount Rainier at this visitor center.

It has a lounge, shops and some food options available.

Unfortunately when we went in September of 2025, the rest rooms weren't working and it was a mess. Hope the management comes up with plan B in case of water line failures again."
