Reviews Summary

Riverside Park is widely praised as a beautiful, family-friendly urban oasis with excellent playgrounds and scenic river views. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, community events, and unique attractions like the Freedom Tunnel. While parking can be tight, the overall experience is highly positive, offering a great escape within the city.

"Beautiful park. Playground is nice. Not too big or too small. I think the climbing structures are good for older kids, not necessarily toddlers or under 5.
Parking lot is small and spaces are tight."

"One of my favorite spots for walks in the morning and evening! Numerous activities take place at the amphitheater in this park all year round. I witnessed movie screenings, musical evenings, a variety of kid-friendly events, and splash areas for all. Sitting next to the park's flowing river is one of my other favorite spots. It's in the heart of Auburn Hills, and parking is free. There are also excellent restaurants around for breakfast in the morning, beverages, and cuisine."

Manish Kumar

"Beautiful natural community park by the river. Small enough that you can sit at a table and watch your kids play, have a view across the park. Easy to swim/wade/play in the river (bring water shoes - the ground is rocks/pebbles). There is also a small (concrete) splash pad. The playground has a little free library stop that usually is filled with kids books, and turns over quickly. Brick and mortar bathrooms, well maintained. Nice place to spend some time relaxing or let the kids play."
