I had love to have had 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours here. There's a lot of fascinating information and they're bringing more back as they restore a couple of other buildings. "Had never heard of the Shaker Community. Admission was $15 for a non-senior adult. A short 3-4 video introduced the Shakers and the grounds we were to tour. Tour was self-guided and included plenty of informational signs. Lots of stairs throughout so be aware in the case of any physical limitations. There are two buildings you are able to walk through, the rest is an outdoor walk along the grounds, with plaques of where original buildings used to stand."

"This was an unexpected find on my journey from the Ark to Cave City. Wonderful presentation of history and the Shaker culture. Lots on room scenes showing how they lived and worked. Thank you for it being at self guided so we can take it all in. Couple of interesting finds. The hooks on the wall for holding almost everything and the vents for the lamps on the walls. Gotta be a story there somewhere."
