Open field for drone

I recently purchased a pretty decent prosumer level drone with a 1.2 mile fly radius. I have zero experience flying these so would like to find a big giant open field to fly it. Does anyone know of such a place in the area? I live in Gulf Breeze, so the closer to here the…

Looking for advice on live-edge cherry / walnut slabs around Lexington

Hi all — I’m planning a few home furniture projects and hoping to work with live-edge cherry or walnut for tabletops, etc. I’m in the Lexington area, and since I only have a small SUV (Ford EcoSport), I’m also trying to find slabs that are transportable without a big truck. Has…

Reviews Summary

Bagdad Mill Site Park is appreciated for its historical significance, well-maintained paved walking path, and river access for fishing and kayaking. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and wildlife, though the absence of dogs is a drawback for some. A notable concern is the potential for car break-ins, urging visitors to secure valuables.

"Cool little park that we found on AllTrails- def not a hiking trail as it’s in the middle of town. It’s a nice paved loop. Cool history to read about and places where people can fish. A wooden bridge connects to another parking lot where you can launch a kayak. Benches to sit on, nice clean bathrooms. Not long walk so not fishing or picnic it would make for a short outing but still enjoyed our short visit before going back to Pensacola."

"My brother and I frequent this park often to feed the turtles to the left of the park as you go in. It's well maintained and a beautiful park to visit. I would highly recommend if you have any valuables/purse to place them in your trunk. My window was busted {5% tint} and my purse was stolen. We were only here a little over a half an hour this day. There are NO cameras in the park but my rearview mirror had front/rear camera built in. A complete police report was done with fingerprints, all my contents and description of the purse. Note: always screenshot shot important information including all bank/credit cards {keep information locked with passcode/fingerprint}."

"Great walking path, lots of wildlife & floating dock is good for fishing or taking pictures."
