"This place is so beautiful and peaceful! There are a few benches along the trail, and when you sit down and listen, it is very quiet and calming. There is a lot of wildlife around and there is a lake you can walk to. There are about 3.4 miles of trails to explore including the Close Trail and the Peters Trail. If you are anywhere near Bainbridge Island I would come and check it out for it's amazing beauty and serene peacefulness."

"We loved the hike. It took a couple of hours to go from the north end to the south and on to Peter's trail down to the shore. We took an uber to the trailhead because it is very remote.
There was a lot of shade with all the tall trees, so it was relatively cool even in the middle of the day.
The south end of Peter's trail ends near Lynnwood center with shops, restaurants and even a dog spa. There is a bus that can take you back to the ferry terminal. I would definitely recommend hiking this trail from north to south."

"Great trails for an enjoyable walk. We heard so many birds, trails were not heavily used. Peaceful view of the lake and so much moss and lichen on all the trees. Lots of licorice, deer and sword ferns."
