More “Bainbridge Beaches” that I so adore. Hawley Cove Park is located at 1287 Wing Point Way NE. To get to the beach you first need to walk a 1/4 mile trail and 600 feet of boardwalk. It’s a great walk for any age. This is truly one of my favorite Bainbridge Island parks/beaches. The view of Mount Rainier, the ferries, and the Seattle skyline are a lovely backdrop for the flocking sea otters. The...

Hawley Cove Park is a cherished local secret, praised for its serene atmosphere and stunning views of Mount Rainier and the Seattle skyline. Visitors appreciate the accessible boardwalk trails and the peaceful beach, though the lack of restrooms and dedicated parking are noted drawbacks. Reddit+2

"Hidden gem tucked along the water. There’s no dedicated lot, so plan on street parking and a short walk in. The trails are well kept and end at a small beach with uninterrupted ferry views—great place to unwind for a bit. Love having this escape so close to my city"

Danny Tram

"Lovely, lush greenery and public beach access within walking distance from the ferry. Well-maintained trails with wheelchair accessibility at the end of Hawley Way NE - some are boardwalk style; others are basically more well-trodden paths. Paths lead to the beach at two different points with views of Mount Rainier and the Bainbridge-Seattle ferries. All-in-all, a peaceful environment with diverse wildlife, rocky/sedimentary beaches and an abundance of driftwood (good place to sit). An alternate entrance to the park off of NE Wing Point Way just before the golf course. No restrooms available."

Carolyn Hkn

"Great little park with beautiful trees, a beach area and scenic views of the ferries in Eagle Harbor. This is a great place to take kids of all ages. The trail is mostly flat except for one easy hill at the beginning. The park sits in front of a neighborhood and while there is no actual parking lot, there are several on-street parking spaces in front of the sign where you can pull over."
