Reviews Summary

Pritchard Park is lauded for its beautiful, fine sandy beach and stunning Puget Sound views, offering a peaceful escape and a great spot for dog owners. Visitors appreciate the adjacent Japanese Exclusion Memorial for its educational and poignant experience. However, some have encountered issues with off-leash dogs and limited parking.

"Nice little trail with beach access. The trail connection to the memorial is still closed off, but the memorial is still accessible from the main road. There is still a large section closed off for clean up, but the trail that was open was still lovely with all the fallen leaves. 🍁"

Amber Mersino

"Came to beautiful sunny beach to relax two days before giving birth. A wet dog ran at me aggressively barking, and my husband took him by the collar and pushed him off. Instead of calling the dog off or intervening, the owner came over to yell at extremely pregnant me that “THIS IS AN OFF LEASH DOG PARK AND THERE ARE 20 OTHER PARKS YOU CAN GO TO.”

So I guess if you want to be yelled at by oblivious locals with untrained pets, this is the beach for you!!!"

Sally Peach

"If you’re visiting this bainbridge island just for one day, this spot if perfect to watch a sunset or even the ferries and boats take off. A nice little trail you have to walk to get to the water and sand. Great if you have kids or dogs. The parking is not that big though but it doesn’t seem to be a very crowded spot."
