Reviews Summary

Sakai Park is primarily known for its unique 'Pia the Peacekeeper' troll installation, a sustainable art piece that draws many visitors. While the troll is a highlight, the park itself offers basic amenities and limited attractions beyond that and its urban sports facilities. Parking can be a challenge during busy periods.

"The troll is very cool, but it annoys me a bit that it's right at the entrance. It's a little too easy to access and it doesn't feel like a part of the park or a reward for exploring. The park itself doesn't have much else except a pond that is hard to find a spot to look at, but it's nice. Only other complaint is that there was a homeless guy sleeping with his dog slightly hidden away in the park which was a bit unsettling, or Sakai as we now call it"

Dylan Li

"We took a ferry from Seattle, then drove a short distance to this park. It was easy to find. Not much here though. It's getting a bit of traffic due to one of the trolls being located here. I saw a tennis court and a few picnic tables scattered about. A few trails had nice trees and some shade. From the main road, the driveway was gravel. There was an upper, mid and lower parking area. The mid parking area, by the tennis court, had handicap parking. Porta potties are available, including one for wheelchairs. I didn't see any running water."

Elma Dee

"We only came here to see the Peacekeeper troll installation so we can’t really speak to the rest of the park as a whole. Overall it does look like a nice place to walk around but it doesn’t seem as though there is much in the way of parking, so keep this in mind if you are driving."
