Visitors praise the Patterson Park Pagoda as a 'crown jewel' of Baltimore, loving its unique architecture and the stunning city views from the top. Many appreciate the free access and the picturesque setting, especially during spring blooms. However, the limited opening hours and occasional difficulty with parking and accessibility are noted drawbacks.
"I had been seeing this building my entire life.....I never remember it being open for people to come inside. The stain glass windows and the view from the top is beautiful."
Robert Kirby III
"Pretty cool looking building, worth a look, but it was freezing so I didn’t walk around the other side. Great view of the city from here, during winter.
FYI…There is not easy wheelchair access on this side. You have to go to a different part of the park. Parking can also be difficult, but we luckily found a spot."
Krystal J
"Absolutely beautiful! I would have loved to tours of the inside, but it appears to be only open one or two days a week. If you are not going on a Saturday or Sunday, you will not be able to enter it. Otherwise, the view from outside and the Pagoda itself is absolutely gorgeous! A little Oasis in the middle of a city."
