"Unique opportunity to walk over a bog. Saw many pitcher plants. The walk is mostly flat and easy for any age. Something cool to do if you are in the Bangor area. Great spot to spend an hour or so. Plenty of parking, restrooms. The loop out to the bog closed at 430 so plan accordingly."
Dane Carter
"For someone that is not super familiar with bogs this place was over super cool. The city has constructed basically floating panels of compositor decking over the bog. It’s mostly stationary but some steps you’ll get a little more give than others. It takes you through a cool path of what looks like a jungle forest then opens up to a wet desert then back again. This has to be the easiest walk anyone could possibly do!"
Malcolm Godwin
"Early morning hike was beautiful. There were some posted signs about bear sightings, but that's hardly surprising with the blueberries in season. There's a quarter mile hike from the parking lot along an improved road, then the bog walk is a loop on an elevated path. Gorgeous. Really unique terrain with informative plaques along the way."
