What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the exceptional service and knowledgeable guides on kayak tours, highlighting opportunities to see diverse wildlife and enjoy scenic beauty. Many appreciate the accessibility for beginners and the serene experience, especially during fall foliage. However, some have had negative experiences with kayak rentals due to disorganization and lack of assistance.
"What a phenomenal experience! My sisters and I did the fall foliage kayaking today and it was so lovely! The creek was calm and serene. We got to see a number of ducks and herons, and of course the leaves were beautiful.
We're not super experienced/athletic but had no problem paddling or steering. It wasn't too strenuous but it was a good arm work out. And we had such a great group! There were only 6 of us and all women - such a great energy!
Carrie was an excellent guide, Connor was a delight, and even though we didn't meet the owner, Brad, he sent homemade pumpkin muffins and cider for us for after the excursion. Such an authentic way to experience the beauty of the area outside the park."

"10/10 service and bikes. If you have young children, the Rad Wagon is the only way to go in my opinion.
Thanks Jackson and Travis!"

"We would never go back to this kayak rental again. They were a bit unorganized. They load whatever kayaks you request onto a two wheel platform without handles, that you then must push down the hill, across the street and over to the lake. There’s no handles on this. You’re on your own. Then when you’re done, you have to go all the way back up the hill to get that poor 2 wheel platform, go back down to the lake, load up the kayaks, which can be tricky to get them positioned just right as this is not a wide platform, then slog back Up the hill with them again.
I’ve never been to another kayak rental business that made you do all this work and then ask for tips- please tip for what?
Definitely don’t recommend"
