Reviews Summary

Kalmus Beach is praised for its dual nature, offering both calm bay waters ideal for families and wave-filled ocean sides for swimmers and windsurfers. Visitors appreciate the ample parking and generally uncrowded atmosphere, making it a versatile spot for relaxation and activity. Some note that seasonal facilities like the snack bar and restrooms may not always be open.

"I love this particular beach! You have the option of being on the ocean or the bay. With 2 under 3yrs the bay side is perfect. My daughter loves watching the ferries come and go as she plays in the sand/water. There is a ton of parking and it's never too crowded. Unfortunately when we go the building is usually closed but there are bathrooms and a snack bar inside"

Katelyn Smith

"Quite, sand & shells, breezy..nice spot for relaxing and sunbathing. Some area are protected from seaweed behind the seawall, otherwise lots of seaweed."
