What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the personal touch and unique collection at Toad Hall Classic Car Museum. The owner, Bill, is a highlight, sharing passionate stories about his raced cars, mostly red British sports cars and a few Datsuns. While the setting is rustic and cars aren't showroom perfect, the authentic atmosphere and incredible value make it a must-visit for enthusiasts.
"All red English or Japanese cars. Most are inoperable but good examples
Owner is very friendly. $10 entry fee."
Charles Michael Garrido
"This place is hard to describe. All the cars there belong to him and were raced or driven on the street by him. They are all red. They are all British sports cars except for four Datsuns that he also raced. . . . And they're red, too! They are in a barn on the property of a B&B that he runs. If you remember what racing was like in the 60s, 70s and 80s, you HAVE to see this place! This guy is great. He'll tell you about every car, if you like - then leave you alone to lose yourself in yesteryear. This is NOT one of those sterile operating rooms of "garage queens"! These cars have been rode hard and put away wet. I LOVED IT."

"Super nice guy's collection. If you're going to go, you need to set your expectations accordingly. The collection is in a rustic series of adjacent barns, and the cars themselves haven't been road worthy in a long time. The collection is maybe 20-25 cars, mostly British + a few Datsuns, all red, from the late '50s (MG) to the mid '80s (2 Lotus Esprits). Makes include MG, Triumph, TVR, Austin Healey, Jensen Healey, Morgan, Daimler, and Datsun."
