Charlie’s goal for yesterday was to hit all the local jump spots around Mad River. We hit Lareau farm swimming hole, Waitsfield covered bridge, Bartlett falls and tried to park at Warren falls but it was too packed! So we did what any reasonable person would do and hit Warren falls at 6:30 AM this morning on our way out of town! 🤪🤘🏻

"Charming and historic, the 1851 Bartlett Covered Bridge spans the Saco River in quaint Bartlett, NH. Originally built in Paddleford‑truss style (nearly 167 ft long), it carried vehicles until 1939. Today, it's preserved as a foot‑traffic‑only gift shop, seamlessly combining heritage and commerce. With roadside parking, lovely river views, and a cozy local charm, it's a delightful 15–30‑min stop on any White Mountains drive."

Vic Deadly

"You get to visit a covered bridge and gift shop all in one go.
Lots of reasonable prices items to be found."

Steve

"The covered bridge itself is a fascinating and unique structure having a shop built right into a bridge is such a cool and creative idea. The interior space was charming and the staff were friendly and welcoming. That said, I was hoping for more handmade goods or unique souvenirs. Most of the merchandise consisted of the same generic toys and plastic trinkets you can find in many tourist shops. It’s definitely worth visiting for the atmosphere, but the shopping experience could be more distinctive."
