"They say this place is a retirement paradise… but rumor has it they shut down for three whole months in winter (is that true?! 😆).
Strolling along the Bay City Loop, you get gorgeous views of the Saginaw River and the Veterans Memorial Bridge — and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch the bridge lifting for passing boats. Such an impressive sight! 🚤🌉✨"

"Uptown Bay City has got to be a model city! Being on the river of Saginaw Bay, you see large ships come through. The town area has a park and band shell which puts on amazing free concerts June - August 20. Grab your lawn chairs and join everyone. Easy free parking, even bus service. All the buildings are full of businesses. Coffee shop, hand made candy, bakeries, all kinds of restaurants, a lot have outside seating. Clothing stores, Delta college even has a planetarium with a different show every day twice a day $5! Many of the stores have remodeled upstairs that rent out upscale apartments.
Some people were pretty smart when they organized all that!!"
