"It is a must see for anyone who visit Rocky Mountains in Colorado. The views are breathtaking. In winter we literally walked on the frozen lake . There is a short hike around lake . Highly recommend"

niki gh

"Absolute must see when going to Colorado. The loop around the lake is a very light, accessible walk and should be easily doable for most people. After that, there are many trails you can pick, with a range of difficulties and durations (2 / 6 / 10+ miles).

(October '24) To get here, you need to get the timed entry pass from recreation.gov. Parking at the trail head is usually full, but there's a great shuttle bus system that drives every ~15 minutes from the park & ride."

Nick van Mierlo

"It a very beautiful lake and the place must see for anyone who wants to visit Rocky Mountain National Park. Not only the lake itself is amazing but also the scenic views on the way to the lake, especially during late fall."
