"The Beaufort Historic Site was the most perfect venue for our spring wedding. We had our ceremony (~100 people) in the backyard of the Manson House and our tented reception in the main lawn area of the Historic Site on Turner St. The director and team at the site were so easy and nice to work with, always promptly answered my questions, and were happy to accommodate all of our wishes for our wedding day- they love to help couples execute their perfect wedding vision! The wedding day ran so smoothly and we are so grateful for their coordination with all of our vendors. I'd highly recommend the Beaufort Historic Site as a fun, unique, and intimate wedding venue!"

"This is a must-see if you are visiting Beaufort NC. Stop first at the visitors center/shop to find out what to expect. The gifts are fun to look at! It’s bright and airy and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Once on the property, you’ll see restored buildings like the courthouse, jail, apothecary with garden in the back, and homes. It’s a great place to check out for all ages. My family (husband, teenage son, adult daughter, and my brother) went here and we all enjoyed the sites. My favorite part was perusing through the art gallery. Currently they have art for auction."

"This is a great place to stop to learn a little local history. There are 5 buildings that have been moved to this site that date from the late 1800's. Start in the visitors center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer tours at 10am and 2:30. The cost is $15 per person. You can also pick up brochures for other local events and places. This is the only way that you can go inside all of the buildings. We were not able to do the tour but did walk the grounds and peak in the windows."
