Visitors highlight the friendly atmosphere and the quality of the riding experience, with many calling it a top-tier destination. Some find it 'overhyped' and prefer other local areas for their scenic beauty and trail style.
"Such a fun place to ride! Trails for all levels of riders. I’m a beginner MTBer and was a little intimidated my first time here but everyone I met was super friendly and helpful. The parking lot is spacious and they have a few really clean porta potties. The Transition Outpost (bike shop) just down the road is a great place to grab water, snacks, beer, and delicious food after your ride or in between laps. I would hit Galby every week if I could!"

"This place was phenomenal. Absolutely blew my mind. Stellar trails some incredible views. So many miles of trails. It would take months to cover. Definitely kicked my butt. I was sore for a day afterward. Definitely was not geared up or skilled enough for a lot of it. Can’t wait to go back and do it again. 👍🏽👍🏽🤪✌️"
Sean Black
"Overhyped because of YouTube . Cool environment but lots of clear cuts not particularly a pretty area. Most Trails seem to generally straight up and straight down. Not exactly flowy or cross-country style that I could see. I prefer Anacortes as it has zero clear cuts it's much more attractive. The trails are more fun to ride and they can loop. In my opinion of course. In a mountain biker for 40 years former president of a large mountain bike group trail crew leader for 13 years straight. Former mountain bike racer."
