Cool trails in the area for family w small kids??
I'm familiar w the Carolina thread trail map website, but wanted to ask if anyone knows/have been on any cool trails that would work for a family with a 6 year old? (Think relatively short, cool things to see or do like cross a bridge, simple terrain) Thanks!

"At first I didn't know what to expect seeing the closed sign when we arrived. After, seeing someone else coming out of the trail we took our changes. This trails is definitely catered to mountain biking with all the curves and different levels along the trail. If you enjoy biking this is the place for you and your bike. However, we walked the trail and it was very nice. The trail led to other trails. We came in through the Belmont side and was able to cross over Cramenton through the trail. Cool right! Another great thing I thought was interesting was how some of the markers had plants descriptions on them. Love it! We really enjoyed this trail."

"Mostly biker friendly Trails for all skill levels. However, there are some intermediate and advanced trails that will literally take your breath away - menacing Rock gardens, switchbacks and some short steep climbs. All in all, lots of fun.
Oh and one more thing, the trail has friendly birds!"

"Great trail lots of advanced features. Tons of drops, berms, ramps. Lots of uphill also๐ .. edit 2021.. recently they have been updating and redoing the trails to make it more hiker friendly and giving riders a more updated fun riding experience.. they've done hell of a job and they're not even done yet. Hatch off to the trailbuilders and everyone that's donated. I can't wait to see where the entire thing's done.. probably the most technical trail in Charlotte on top of it being the most fun and my overall favorite trail system"
