What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Riley Ranch Nature Reserve for its well-maintained trails, beautiful views of the Cascades and Deschutes River, and accessible paths. Many appreciate the peaceful high desert environment. However, the strict 'no dogs allowed' policy is a frequent point of disappointment for pet owners.
"Super a beautiful spot to stop at! We loved that they had so many different loop options depending how long you wanted to walk!"

"First of all, it’s important to mention that this is a location where dogs are not allowed. So I took them for a walk around the park and nearby roads, then had them stay briefly in the car while I hurried to walk half of the shortest Juniper Loop Trail. The open space brought a sense of refreshment, and the well-maintained paths looked great, though it was a bit disappointing that I couldn’t be there with the dogs. Therefore, I returned to Sawyer Park to walk along the fishing trail with them."

"Well planned and maintained walking and hiking trails. Beautiful views. No dogs allowed."
