Visitors consistently praise Tilden Little Farm as a wonderful, free family outing with a charming array of animals. The surrounding park offers beautiful picnic spots and additional attractions, making it a complete day trip. While the ability to feed animals has changed, the educational and enjoyable experience of seeing them up close remains a highlight.

"Tilden Little Farm is a wonderful spot for families! There are lots of farm animals—cows, chickens, ducks, bunnies, pigs, and sheep—and my kid had an absolute blast seeing them all up close. It’s perfect for little ones and also a great place to picnic. The farm is tucked into the middle of a beautiful park with plenty of hiking trails and shady trees, making it an ideal outing even on a hot day. There’s also a nearby play area for kids. A hidden gem in the East Bay!"

Praveen Reddy

"My son loves watching animals very much, and my choice fell on this farm. We arrived late, and did not have time to enjoy the birds and rabbits (but we were given a couple of minutes), as well as the pigs (since they were already asleep), but other animals (cows and sheep) were fully accessible, they could be fed and petted. Admission is free, but if you want to feed the animals, you need to bring food with you. We liked the farm, good customer orientation, and a good variety of animals. I will recommend this place to my friends."

Mida Mi

"Beautiful day and the kids were very excited. You can't feed the animals with your own items but, the rangers there will share their food."
