The adjacent nature trails and playground add to the outdoor fun, though bug spray is recommended in warmer months. While some find there isn't an overwhelming amount to do, the interactive elements and animal encounters provide a solid, enjoyable visit for families.
"The live animals was the best part. They have activities for kids inside and a play area outside for the kids as well. It was a great visit just not to much to do."

"Took a nice short hike back here today.I parked at beehive stadium and followed the path which took me to hunger ford park. I got to see some goats some llamas and a pig. I also got to see a well not sure if the pipe was broken or not but it was pretty cool to see the water gushing out of it."

"Literally so many things to do here!
The museum has a great selection of things and it can be a great learning experience for young kids. They have many cute animals both inside and outside in the barn. Sometimes I take my little brother and we feed the goats and cow carrots, apples, and strawberries which they absolutely LOVE
They also have a nice trail next to the museum which is nice (I believe the longest route is a mile long) but when I went sometime in June there were SO many bugs. I don't think that is something that can be controlled so just make sure you bring bug spray! You will definitely need it.
In the small kiddy park section with the butterfly garden and small pond they also have a little free library, so any children's books you might have but do not need you can donate there."
