What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Residents praise the responsive management, especially Courtney, and the vibrant community atmosphere with its dog-friendly environment and walkable amenities. The blend of historic architecture with modern living and river views is a significant draw. However, some guests express concern over disproportionately high rent increases without commensurate property improvements, citing issues like unfinished construction, potholes, and security.
"I’ve lived here for only a couple of weeks but it has been a great experience so far. The property manager Courtney has been wonderful and incredibly responsive. I had an issue with my laundry hookup and within an hour of calling Courtney, I had Lester from maintenance at my door to remedy the situation. And it wasn’t just a quick “make it work” experience - he had a great attention to detail that left the space functional but also looking great. I really appreciate the care the residents receive from management!"

"I love living in this complex so much. Everyone here has been super kind and helpful.
There are a lot of great businesses within the mill that add to the experience and the area around is very walkable. From my window I can watch the tides in Saco River throughout the day.
They also have composting as an option, along with trash and recycling, and I think that is so cool.
There are lots of dogs in the building. I never hear them but I love getting to see them when I am out walking.
10/10 would recommend."

"WOW! I am so thrilled with my new apartment! Courtney at the Leasing office is simply amazing! She always treats me as though I am her only resident. The blend of commercial and residential space in these refurbished mill buildings gives the complex great energy. There are also thoughtfully designed outside spaces for residents. Pepperell Provisions (Bldg 18) is my new favorite spot! The coffee is on point and they have great gluten free food offerings. I love it here so much I can't imagine living anywhere else!"
