That bay is like 3 blocks from my ma's house. Lovely area. You should do the lighthouse at Wood Island in Biddeford Pool too. One of the most picturesque spots on the planet.

I live in Biddeford and got my clamming license. I don’t know where to go the only area open is granite point I drove up and down it didn’t know where to park or dig any help very appreciated.
I’d go to Biddeford pool. Lovely area and there’s lots of sandy coves around. I don’t know much about clamming though so take it with a grain of salt

"Here for a tour on 8/21. Hurricane Erin has had warnings for a week. Other companies have cancelled trips for tomorrow. (Friday) or this evening. I repeatedly checked my email this morning before leaving to ensure the tour was not canceled. Woke up at dawn, drove 2 hours, arrive at 8:40 for the 9AM tour and it is cancelled. It is inexcusable.
The group leader said “we just found out” because the boat pilot just went out. Why did he leave checking until a half an hour before departure? Complete disregard or value for others time. The rest of the days tours will be given sufficient notice- our benefit for being up first was zero notice, an early wake up for no reason, and what will be for me 4 HOURS on the road for nothing."
