Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Big Bay Town Park for its stunning, ocean-like beach with shallow, clear waters perfect for swimming and dogs. The serene lagoon for canoeing and the well-maintained campgrounds are also major draws. Some minor drawbacks include the pricing of showers and occasional insect presence, but the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.

"Camped there on site 28. The campgrounds are nice. There wasn't much for mosquitoes but lots of fly. Site 28 was right by the main office building. The sites there has its own parking spot. Office hours are open from 8-4. If you check in after hours they have a list of incoming campers listed on the office door. Bathroom does have quite a bit of bugs. The showers were a little on the down side. They do have one shower for family/wheelchair accessible. Showers are on the pricey side per min. During our 4 day stay there we didn't see the host at all."

"Beautiful beach! The sand was great and there was plenty of beach to spread out. The water was shallow for at least 20 feet which was super nice."

Stephanie Rawlins

"We camp here every year now with a group of friends and we always have the best experience. Love making memories in this wonderful place. Bathrooms are nice, camp hosts are super helpful and friendly, and the access to the beach just can't be beat. My favorite place to camp, by far."
