What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Point Cadet as a beautiful waterside park with great amenities like a splash pad and playground, perfect for families and events. While many enjoy the scenic views and the convenience for activities like fishing and attending festivals, some reviews mention concerns about the park's maintenance and the availability of facilities like restrooms.
"We were there for the Gulf Coast Oyster Cook Off. First off, if you see the Logo Salty Girl Oysters. Run don't walk. These oysters were big, salty, and delicious. They had raw and Char- grill ready and waiting this past weekend, but Salty Girl supplies to a lot of restaurants along the Gulf Coast. So next time you are on the coast of Mississippi, go check them out. They are on social media
Now for the area of the cook-off. Just look at the pictures. It's a beautiful place to spend the afternoon. Fishing, boating, or just sitting on the bench, taking in the breeze coming off the gulf, and the oak trees 🌳 are huge and beautiful 😍. Definitely worth a visit"

"My family and I stopped here for a moment to kill time in between appointments. It’s September 22 and still hot mind you. The second canopy is not up, the bathrooms are closed, pieces of the equipment are broken and the ground covering is torn up all over causing the surface to be unsafe for littles ones to run over. Come on Biloxi. How hard is it to make decent areas for families? Put money into the park and keep them looking nice. I’m so sick and tired of cities and places not putting effort into caring for the next generation. Politicians and department heads rather sit on their butts than actually work."

"Very well kept park. Area is used for large outdoor events.
We took pictures of the March 29 - 30 oyster cook off.
They have a nice covered playground area for the kids and huge display area for events."
