However, concerns have been raised about litter and broken glass in certain areas, detracting from the natural beauty and safety for pets and children. The park features a 1.8-mile walking trail that meanders through lush landscapes, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The disc golf course, known as InDiGo, is set amidst rolling hills and dense woods, offering a challenging experience for players of all skill levels. The course includes dual tees and pin positions, with red and blue tee pads on every hole. It is well-maintained, with permanent, full-color signs for every tee and benches for four people on most tees."

"Very nice park in the Hoover area. Trails are super clean and paved. Very easy to come here for a stroller walk and enjoy the views."

"I'm not sure why others said these trails were well maintained. There is so much broken glass and also an area where people have obviously gone and dumped their trash, including appliances, scrap metal, and furniture.
The natural area is beautiful and the trails ARE nice but when you have to be careful with your kids and dogs and worry about them getting cut or injured by the glass or liter it takes away from the fun.
My daughter’s young lab sliced his foot on a big chunk of glass. There was so much blood at first we didn't know what had happened. This is a place that could be so nice to take your dogs and family if the City of Hoover would come out and do a good cleaning! My husband contacted them and has gotten no reply.
Very disappointing.
Please be careful to the right of marker # 12. That's where there is an abundance of glass."

This trail is designed for accessibility, making it a pleasant route for casual walkers, families with strollers, and even those looking for a gentle incline to get their heart rate up. Reddit The park's rolling hills add a scenic element, providing lovely views as you explore. However, it's important to be aware that while the main trail is paved, some visitors have reported encountering broken glass and litter in certain sections, particularly to the right of marker #12. Beyond the main paved path, the park's natural setting offers opportunities for more rugged exploration, though these areas may not be as well-maintained or accessible.
