"Absolutely breathtaking natural wonder. The stone columns rising from the lakeshore are unlike anything I’ve ever seen — almost otherworldly. The contrast of the rugged rock formations against the deep blue water of Crowley Lake is stunning. The place is quiet and peaceful, with incredible photo opportunities everywhere you look. A must-see if you’re anywhere near the Eastern Sierra — it’s worth the drive and the short hike."

"Amazing natural wonder . The columns looked so beautiful and unreal . And the lake is beautiful too . But getting here was little challenging , the last 7-8 miles is unpaved road , also the road is closed about 1.5 miles before the parking spot . One can only go if you have a big 4x4 , if not you ll have to walk 1.5 miles to get to the parking and then .5 miles more down to the beach/ columns .
It’s not treacherous but just tiring . But once you get there , it’s totally worth it ."
PS
"Beautiful sight of nature. But warning! You cannot get to the columns in a car without having an off road vehicle, or you’d have to walk the last 2.3 miles by foot. The road is extremely bumpy once you drive up the hill. Even with a car, you’d need to walk down a pretty steep hill to get to the actual columns. You can walk to the columns but expect an hour walk each way under the sun (over 4 miles in total). Bring lots of water."
