What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise 4th Street International Restaurant Row for its incredible variety of international cuisines, with the gyros and other Mediterranean dishes receiving consistent acclaim for their flavor and generous portions. The friendly service and unique market finds are also highlights, though some note that prices can be a bit steep and selection may vary.
"This is an eclectic market housed in the back of a Cajun restaurant featuring international food but with a strong leaning towards Pakistani, Punjabi and Middle Eastern items. If you are seeking teas, spices and hard to come by Middle Eastern or South Asian products, this might be a place to look.
On the other hand, prices are a bit steep, selection is rather limited and it is definitely hit and miss. If you have a specific item in mind, you might be unlikely to find it here.
Pro Tip
There is a small Indian market in the neighbouring India Garden if you are inclined to do some South Asian comparison shopping."

"By far the best gyros and fast chicken curry I've ever had. The gyros are so good and my boyfriends favorite, that we come here every time we visit Bloomington from Chicago, and pack up gyros to bring back home (the owner even packs the parts separately so it doesn't go bad on the drive up). The owner and staff are so nice. This is Bloomington's hidden gem. This restaurant is a must go-to."

"Always polite service at this downtown hidden jem. Hidden between some of the best restaurants on 4th Street. This place has good food, a small grocery store, and kitchen supplies. Best of all...... They have the best gyros downtown, and at a great price. Get the gyros platter and prepare to feast. Outdoor seating is decent and not the best decor, but I head here for lunch and last minute items regularly."
