"My favorite thing about Bloomington/Normal by far. I’ve visited and walked/jogged/biked this trail since I was in college and it never gets old. The trail runs through a large majority of Bloomington/Normal and takes you straight to Uptown Normal. I’ve used the path to walk to and from work and it is safe, quiet, serene, and so well kept.
I oftentimes walk from different starting points and am always amazed at how long the trail runs. I find new legs of it all of the time! No graffiti, garbage, noise pollution, or negative experiences with other people on the trail. It truly is so nice living in a town with such a great walking space. We typically start at Underwood Park and choose which direction to walk from there.
Highly recommend at all times of year!!"
