What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Leonard Springs Nature Park's stunning natural beauty, particularly its waterfalls and caves, calling it an enchanting and relaxing escape right on the edge of town. However, the park's challenging terrain with many stairs and limited parking are frequently mentioned drawbacks.
"This is an awesome place to go. You can take a friend, family member, kids or you can just go alone. This is such a nice place to go to relax and “get away”. You would never know while hiking and playing in the waterfalls that this place is right on the edge of town. There’s also a nice cave that is easily accessible- although I’m not sure if you’re supposed to go inside! No charge for anything, unfortunately there’s nothing that’s handicap accessible. Parking is sometimes hard to find a spot bc there’s only a little space for parking."

"What a beautiful and enchanting place! We had never heard about this park, just saw a sign and thought we'd check it out. We were sure glad we did! Especially going the day after a heavy spring rain, the springs and waterfalls were really gushing. Be warned there are a lot of stairs. It is definitely challenging for anyone prone to vertigo or with mobility limitations. The way down is very well maintained, though. It's a nice hike, and I'll look forward to seeing the water conditions in different weather. UPDATE: Went back late in the summer, and fewer of the springs were active and the creek was flowing less, but it's still beautiful."

"This place is gorgeous!
Fairly easy hike if you are healthy and don't have knee issues. Stairs and elevation changes, with roots and rocks along and within trail.
But the views are certainly worth it!"
