"I have several family members buried in Rose Hill Cemetery so I visit the premises on a regular basis to decorate my loved ones graves. When I’m there I always notice how well manicured the lawns are and I’ve never seen the property littered with trash or old debris. It’s nice to know that the city of Bloomington takes such good care of this silent city that contains the graves of some of Bloomington’s earliest inhabitants. It’s impossible for me to speak in detail of the numerous graves of interest, but if you have time to stroll around the southeast corner of this place you will find the area that contains some of the oldest documented graves within the cemetery. Numerous tombstones tower over the graves of various soldiers who fought in the war of 1812, the Civil War, and I believe 2 captains who fought in the Mexican War are buried there as well. In addition to that, I also heard that hundreds of unmarked graves occupy the spaces in between. Nonetheless, this burial ground possess a grace and beauty that will definitely catch your attention."

"Well…where do I begin? First off, just letting ppl know that I’m a very passionate Paranormal Explorer/Investigator. I also have a love for any and all History. Roughly 2 years ago, I began looking into exploring/investigating cemeteries, but not just any cemeteries…Haunted Cemeteries!! The ones that have the terrifying and sometimes disturbing backstories….Anyways, you get the point, enough about me. So 2 nights ago I
out basically freelancing counties and checking if they have Active Haunted Cemeteries. I also check out all the “Top 10” lists for Indiana. Regardless I just so happen to come across this beautiful hidden and as I did find out VERY quickly was EXTREMELY ACTIVE…j/s ALOT of movement from shadow apparitions throughout the cemetery. Rose Hill Cemetery is hands down the most amazing, beautiful and has some very ACTIVE Spirits that are eager and willing to communicate with the living. Rose Hill Cemetery needs and deserves some serious recognition!! Sorry for the novel guys, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!"
