"You must keep your children close as the trail follows the edge of the top of Bodega Head. Their are no guardrails and its a long way down to fall onto the rocks below. There are plenty of warning signs at the beginning of the trail. It is also steep & gravelly in areas. So you are prone to slide. Its about 4-5 mile hike plus trails go off to the left with no trail directions. Eventually you will come out at the upper parking lot and walk dkwn the road to the lower lot. Views are gorgeous. Plenty of birdsongs. Very nice view of Doran Regional park from Bodega Head."
