"$72 dollars and every other green had massive chunks taken out, no ball washer station and even no yardages at the tee boxes. How is this place more expensive than Balboa? I asked a lot of the regulars if it typically takes 5 hours to finish the 18, they said yes. LONG day of waiting at the tee box.
It gets a star for layout though. The layout is a good time with a lot of circling back to the club house and snack shack."

"Bonita Golf Course is in great condition for August on about 80% of the holes. The rest were still okay but some fairway damage. We really enjoyed it. The holes are mostly flat but there are still plenty of challenges. If we were not playing with regulars we would have gotten lost making our way from hole to hole. Not laid out or signed very well. But still fun. The green rolled quick and true and were in good shape. Around the outside of the course there is a hiking/walking trail, that had people riding horses. Great treat in the San Diego area for not too much money."
