"On a Norwegian cruise that docked in Boston for a few hours. It was recommended to us by friends to visit the visitor center & take the tour. We had the pleasure of having Jeremiah Poope (yes, that’s his real name) as our guide. He was made to be a tour guide! One of the best tours I’ve been on all because of him! He was so funny & knowledgeable. We truly lucked out having him as our guide. The staff in the visitor center were also super friendly and answered all of our questions."

"We visited on a Wednesday morning in mid-June 2025.
We stopped by mainly to use the bathroom before starting on the freedom trail. We also picked up some merch. It was conveniently placed and most the sites did not open until 10AM. This visitor center opening at 8:30 gave us something to do.
We parked at the Garage at Post Office Square. We had a roof top cargo carrier and this was the only parking garage with had tall vehicle accommodations.
Overall this is a fantastic place to visit if you're exploring Boston Commons or starting on the Freedom Trail in the morning because the main sites are open to the public."
