What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Soma Yoga Center is highly praised for its clean, welcoming studio and exceptional instructors who cater to all levels. Visitors love the peaceful atmosphere and the variety of classes, especially Pilates. Some find the mat rental fee a bit high, but overall, it's considered a top-tier yoga destination.
"I am currently doing a trial here for 79 dollars for 2 wks. I cycle here from Cambridge and find it takes literally 12 minutes and I park my bike right out front. I like their schedule a lot and find the 12pm class great. They have a variety of teachers across the Boston Area that are coveted and people really love; everyone seems so prepared and professional. The space truly is lovely with the big windows, fig trees, and how CLEAN it is. I am pregnancy so began coming here b/c I cannot go to hot yoga anymore but have been really happy with this space and studio. I do wish there was no $3 fee for a yoga mat rental; when I bike over I have to also buy a mat which does add up over time. I wish it was more like $1 to rent especially b/c the non hot classes really make the mat not that gross or sweaty. All in all very happy here and would recommend to anyone in the Boston or Cambridge area."

"The best yoga studio in the North End! The space is always clean, welcoming, and peaceful. The instructors are friendly, supportive, and great at guiding all levels — whether you’re new to yoga or experienced. I also really enjoy the Pilates classes - strongly recommend any class led by Kim or Amanda! It truly feels like a safe, judgment-free space to move and reset."

"I needed to rent a private yoga studio for an hour and Soma was extremely accomodating. Even though they’re on a third floor walkup, they also have an elevator available from a different entrance for anyone too tired or unable to walk up 3 flights. We had the backup studio reserved which still provided sunlight thru their exposed brick walls. It was a very welcoming experience with friendly staff. They even validate parking at the haymarket garage of $3 for up to 3 hours! Such a wonderful experience and highly recommend."
