What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise downtown Boyne City for its friendly atmosphere, clean and quaint streets, and lovely shops with fairly priced items. The beautiful waterfront park is a significant highlight, offering a safe and enjoyable space. While generally positive, some may find the town small, but its charm and community events make it a beloved destination for both short visits and longer family vacations.
"This is such a wonderful town to visit! It has great food, fun shops to check out, and everyone is so friendly! We used to just come here for anniversary trips, but now we're bringing the whole family for vacations here. It's close to Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Walloon. And it's only about an hour from Traverse City and Mackinac. If you're looking for a place to stay check out Boyneland Vacation Rentals - Lindsay is wonderful, and her rentals are luxurious, but very fairly priced! For delicious sandwiches check out Lake Street Market, Happy's Tacos (just outside of town) for incredible tacos and fantastic beer, Beani's for great coffee, and Gilda's for an amazing breakfast. If you have kids or grandkids, check out For Fun's Sake, they have a great selection of toys and games. I could go on and on! Can't wait to go back."
