Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Greenleaf State Park for its exceptional cleanliness, particularly its bathrooms and showers, and the spacious, well-maintained campsites. The park is lauded as one of Oklahoma's nicest for a quiet, nature-focused stay, with many highlighting the friendly staff and the joy of observing wildlife like deer and turkeys. While the rustic cabins are a popular draw, some find them basic. The lack of water skiing and jet skis contributes to a peaceful atmosphere.

"We’re staying at the RV campsite gobbler Ridge 25. The lawn has been cut and edged everything is clean. The bathrooms are clean. The showers are clean. I can’t emphasize how clean the bathrooms and the showers are!! They are beyond clean. We’ve enjoyed our stay we’re in campsite 25. Everything is so quiet. They have nice picnic tables that are sturdy and fairly new. They’re made out of composite wood. Camper cement slabs very level. And they are extra wide. We have plenty of room behind our camper to put a giant rug the picnic table, chairs, and a lot more. We have extra room on either side of our camper to walk and sit around. I highly recommend the state park. The paved walking trails are clean- clear of overgrowth and debris. They have new benches along the way as well. Dogs are allowed. They have a Dump station as well. Last evening wild deer and turkeys were walking through the empty campsite, but stayed a little bit away from us. It was nice to sit at our camp and watch them."

"Nicest state park in Oklahoma for a quiet stay. Excellent for kids.
Built by the WPA, used by the army in WWII. The cabins are extremely rustic.
I've always had good luck fishing.
No skiing or jet skis allowed."

"Talk about a perfect nature getaway! This has been my favorite park so far. We stayed in a cabin (highly recommend!), saw lots of deer and mushrooms, and got to experience some beautiful clear skies that night. Went to bed as a deer walked past our door and woke up to a deer laying down across from our door eating grass. People in the welcome center are absolutely amazing, too! They were all interested in hearing about my dog's journey to the Oklahoma state parks while battling cancer."
