She was a little shy at the beginning of her class, but Kiki, artist in residence, inspired her to create and try a new medium, print making. "Breck Create is a unique arts campus in the heart of Breckenridge that serves locals and visitors with intentionally curated arts programming. They have five separate art-making studios each dedicated to a different medium from ceramics to glass blowing, printmaking, and painting, a family studio, and a forthcoming maker-space. They also have two artists in residence studios and a theatre. Locals from the immediate community are provided with high-quality programming that includes exhibitions from artists worldwide, workshops where you can learn new skills free of cost, and live performances. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. The campus has many amenities to offer and invites you to take the time to be creative and build community through the arts."

Junk to Gems
This is a basic level class for kids (adults may enjoy too) in which you use recycled plastics to make keep, keychains, etc.. learn about basics of recycled plastics and how they are sourced and then physically load machines and work with hands to make keepsakes - great use of 4 hours to engage with others - these are small classes so you can meet people or choose to work alone.

Challenging but so worth it! You will learn the basics of molding glass using high heat. Instructor is helpful and doesn’t let you ‘mess it up’ ;). Introduces uses the basics and you get to take home the piece you make! Worth every penny and a great way to learn something new that would normally be much more expensive to experience!

I highly recommend trying one of the classes that this organization offers! It is not often you can engage in different art experiences in a safe, non judgmental environment!
