The hidden troll was so cool… but this hotel?! 🏨 ✨ Game changer for family trips to Breckenridge. We came after the Royal Gorge Route Railroad (about 2 hours away) train ride and made it one of our favorite weekend stops. The famous Breckenridge Troll trail is short, easy, and perfect for kids! Especially with warm drinks from Cuppa Joe ☕ before the hike. The Hyatt Vacation Club at The Ranahan mad...

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the High Line Railroad Park for its charming train exhibits and engaging playground, making it a favorite for families with young children. While some note the lack of restrooms, the park's cleanliness, scenic setting, and proximity to other attractions like the Breckenridge Troll are highly valued.

"High Line Railroad Park is a great place for kids ages 2-5. Amazing views for parents and great fun time of kids. The park has a giant pretend railway ticket booth, a play area with train shapes, and a couple of other structures with slides. There are also plenty of picnic tables for parents to relax while the kids play.

The playground is surrounded by trees and a few meters away from the road, making it a safe place for kids to run around. The sand ground cover is soft on little feet.

My two-year-old loved pretending to be a conductor at the ticket booth, and she had a blast climbing through the train cars. The other structures were a bit too challenging for her, but she still had fun exploring them."

"This is a fun little railroad park. The engines and cars are beautifully restored. You can tell they take good care of them. It's a short walk from the Ice Rink parking lot."

Mike “Aleron”

"This was a really cool little park outside Breckenridge. The place isn't that big, but it's a great break from the downtown main street area of Breckenridge. A cool, small railroad themed park. The place is nice and clean and there are some trails and paths you can walk around. The only downside is there isn't a restroom or port-a potty."
