"Ferry crossings are generally very peaceful and beautiful Puget Sound on either the 30min Kitsap fast ferry (passenger only) or hour-long WSF vehicle ferries takes approx 55min.
It's a perfect way to relax and enjoy the incredible nature beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. Oftentimes, seals, clubs, otters and whale pods are known to frequent crossings during certain times of year.
Tickets are only needed for walk-on passengers crossing back from Seattle to Bremerton. As of May 2025 ticket price is a few cents short of $10 and this applies to all WSF ferry service EXCEPT Eastbound walk ons board free (Seattle bound)
