I don’t disagree. Looking glass falls is very crowded. The only difference is LGF is a stop and go compared to a trail. Even though it’s super busy you’re there only for a couple of minutes #Hiking #hikers #hikingadventures #appalachianmountains #hikersoftiktok #blueridgemountains #northcarolina #hikers #waterfalls #waterfall #waterfallsoftiktok

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Looking Glass Falls for its stunning beauty, accessibility, and refreshing atmosphere, calling it a 'must-stop' for its powerful cascade and tranquil setting. While it can get crowded, the short visit duration and the immersive experience of the mist and sound make it a highly recommended natural wonder for all types of travelers.

"Beautiful place!!! I love it! You just follow a convenient path and come to a very beautiful waterfall. In the summer, you can swim there. I did. The water is clear and crystal-clear. I love this place and have already come twice from Charlotte. Convenient parking is nearby. Don't miss this turn!!! You'll love it, I promise!!! It takes 10 minutes to get to the waterfall and 10 minutes back. There are a lot of steps. But if you walk slowly and don't rush, you won't get tired."

"Creations like this remind us that there are far bigger things than us. Humbling. Peaceful. Happy. Resetting.

This is a must-stop if you’re anywhere near the area! Week days are likely less busy and more enjoyable.

The powerful sounds of the falls, the massive surrounding rocks, the lively greenery, the cool, peaceful stream that weaves and turns….all a great reset for the soul!

Even the fur babies find solace here! Great for everyone!"

"Looking Glass Falls is one of those places that effortlessly captures the beauty and tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Easy to access right off the highway, it’s perfect for a spontaneous stop or a peaceful picnic. The waterfall cascades 60 feet into a crystal-clear pool below, and the mist in the air adds a magical touch.

Whether you're standing at the overlook or walking down to feel the cool water on your toes, the view is always stunning. It can get a bit crowded during weekends or warmer months, but it's still worth the visit. Great for families, solo travelers, or anyone who needs a moment to reconnect with nature. Don’t forget your camera—this one’s a postcard in real life."
