"This is a very good museum focused on the Veterans and War of the US. It is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. Admission is free but donations are welcome. The Museum provides terrific insight in the wars, the equipment, the challenge, and features Veterans from North Carolina. It is organized to walk from room to room. Rooms are dedicated to each war, various branches of service, and more. There are historic items from each war including World War I, World Work II, the Cold War, the Korean War, and War on Terror. It has a lot of equipment including guns, jeeps, and motorcycles from each war. As you tour, you see the tragedies, unique conditions and issues of conditions under which the warrior has to fight from the trenches of WWI to the chemical warfare of the War on Terror. It is very well done and a LOT to see. The pictures give a good idea of all that the Museum offers. Veterans are volunteers at the Museum and gladly share information and their story."
