Just got my full squish and want to get better at jumping. I heard Valmont Bike Park is good but I’m wondering if the features will be too big for me. For context this is my first season. I went to Trestle and rented a DH bike and by the end of the day I was doing blacks there…

"McKay Lake Park is a beautiful municipal park in the city of Westminster, Colorado.
This was my first time here and I was only looking for a walk around the lake... I discovered that just off of the parking lot near 136th and Zuni Street there is a few agility trails and courses for bikes. All levels. There is also a playground that keeps families occupied and makes mingling amongst neighbors and newbies unnerving.
I recommend this open space as an intercity interaction with nature. You'll experience natural vegetation and animal species during your visit.. if you're lucky..
Have fun..I went in October. It was over 70 degrees this afternoon. Shorts and a hoodie weather..."

"Such a cool park and playground! It’s called a “nature play area” and feels different from most typical plastic, brightly colored playgrounds. It uses sticks, logs, rocks, ropes and tunnels in really interesting, creative ways. Lots of places to explore. Brought a group of tweens and they loved it!"

"Amazing playground and bike tracks for kids and experts. I walked my dogs around the lake and they had a good time, there were donkeys by the house on the North West side of the lake. The trail is gravel and the small kind that can get in your shoes as you walk"
