What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally found the Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley to be a fun and affordable outing, particularly for younger children. While the Main Street area and magnetic ball wall were highlights, some reviews noted concerns about the cleanliness of the toddler play area. The museum offers a good value for families seeking an indoor, engaging experience.
"Edit: they have PERMANENTLY CLOSED this location, with no current plans to reopen, just in the future.
It’s fun for little babies and older kids! Lots of art and science for the older kids, and tons of fun for the toddlers and babies. It’s clean and while some of the toys are very worn, we have a wonderful time each visit."

"The price was great. My baby had a great time. However, I wish the soft area for 0-2 year olds was cleaner. The play mat was covered in hair, dirt, etc. which is odd if it’s a shoe free zone. Doesn’t seem like it was cleaned in a while. Would have loved my experience more if I wasn’t concerned about my baby picking up dirt."

"I found this children's museum on Groupon. We drove in from Cypress. The drive going out towards College Station is more relaxing and easier than going the opposite direction into Houston some days. We wanted a chill day since it was super hot. Our friends went to the Houston Zoo and we came here. It was a fraction of the cost & we were in AC. Win win in my book!
My daughter is 7. I did feel this children's museum was geared more for littles but she had an absolute blast. We were there about 2.5 hours. We spent almost an hour on the magnetic ball wall. That was so much fun.
This place has so much potential and room to grow. I don't know what activities they have on a daily basis but they had some coloring pages, make your own jellyfish for the ocean wall and some books that fit their monthly theme. We made jellyfish, read the books and she did a lot of creative and imaginative play.
I have told some friends that live closer with younger kids to check it out. I hope they expand and make it even better for kids. They have a great foundation and framework already in place. My mom was really impressed with the lactation nook for breastfeeding mothers. She thought that piece alone was really well thought out."
